It’s frustrating when your gear can’t keep up with your actual workload. That’s where we come in. Instead of telling you to buy a whole new machine, we just swap out those tired heating elements for custom infrared (IR) lamps. And no, these aren’t the kind of bulbs you pick up at a hardware store. We build these from scratch to fit your specific oven’s footprint. Getting the heat just right It really comes down to a bit of a balancing act between wattage, voltage, and the length of the tube. If we cram more wattage into a shorter tube, you get a much higher heat density. That means your oven ramps up to temperature way faster. But we have to be smart about it. We match the voltage to whatever your shop is running—be it 220V or industrial 380V/400V—so you don’t accidentally fry the filament. One thing to watch out for: if we push a massive amount of heat into a small space, we just need to make sure your oven’s frame can handle it without warping. The guts of the lamp We use high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because it lets the IR radiation hit your product directly without wasting energy on the air around it. Sometimes, a standard lamp isn’t enough. For certain jobs, we add specialized coatings to the tube. This tweaks the wavelength so your product absorbs the heat more efficiently. As for the installation, we use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. It’s a simple swap. You wire them in, and you’re back in business. The real-world result Switching from old coils to IR lamps basically turns a sluggish oven into a precision tool. The best part? It’s instant. You don’t have that annoying lag time you get with traditional elements. Now, keep in mind that IR is “line-of-sight.” It’s amazing for searing the surface and speeding up the bake, but you still need those convection fans to push the heat into the center of whatever you’re cooking.
