If you’re running Sacmi SBF 12/24 or KHS lines, you know the nightmare of uneven heating. You pull a bottle and there it is—cold spots or those annoying “pearls” that ruin a whole batch. Most of the time, it’s not your settings; it’s just that the IR lamps aren’t spreading heat the way they should. We got tired of seeing that happen, so we built replacement lamps that actually fix those dead zones. No guesswork, just a fit. These aren’t some “universal” parts that you have to pray will work. We matched the voltage and wattage exactly to the SBF 12/24 OEM specs. That means you can swap them in without worrying about blowing a fuse or leaving your plastic half-cold. We use high-wattage quartz tubes because they hit the PET wall hard and fast. It gets the heat where it needs to be, which means you can shave time off your cycles. The details that actually matter We use high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because it doesn’t burn out nearly as fast as the cheap stuff. And we know the frustration of forcing a lamp into a socket only to have it sit crooked. We’ve precision-engineered the ends—usually R7s or SK15—so they just slide right in. A snug fit means no arcing at the terminals, which keeps your machine happy. Plus, we added specific coatings to the glass. Instead of the heat bouncing off the surface of the PET, it actually sinks in. What this looks like on the floor The big win here is symmetry. The heat stays consistent from the middle of the tube all the way to the edges. You’ll notice fewer rejects and walls that actually look the same from top to bottom. But here’s a heads-up: if you crank up the heat density to push your throughput, your oven is going to sweat. If you go higher than the original wattage, you’ve got to make sure your cooling fans are spotless and humming along. If the airflow is blocked, the oven housing will overheat. It’s a simple trade-off: more power requires more air. Keep those fans clean, and you’re golden.
